Ismael Rodriguez
Hello everyone!
My name is Ismael Rodriguez.
I hold the prestigious NASM certification as well as a Bachelor Of Science In Kinesiology from California State University San Marcos, a testament to my commitment to mastering the science and art of personal training.
I specialize in weight loss, however I am a well rounded trainer who knows how to get you bigger, stronger and more agile!
I played football all throughout high school, but I started to take weight lifting more seriously after I graduated. I know what it is like to go through an injury when I tore my hamstring in football. I also know what it is like to work with people to get through those mental blocks after an injury, having 2 years experience as a Physical Therapy Aide.
What sets me apart is the knowledge I’ve gained and the empathy and understanding I bring to the table.I’m not just a trainer but a dedicated coach, mentor, and motivator. My role is not limited to offering workouts or nutritional advice; it extends to being your unwavering supporter throughout this transformative process.

I’m Coach Jimmy
A little bit about me,
I’m 27 years old from San Diego, California. I am a ISSA certified Personal Trainer and competitive natural bodybuilder. I have been a coach for about 3 years and I have a huge passion for helping others reach their goals and feel more confident about their bodies and life.
I specialize in weight/fat loss, hypertrophy training and I also do massage therapy.
I grew up playing all kinds of sports from baseball and gymnastics to skateboarding and golf. Although I have always been relatively active I had a hard time after high school finding purpose and meaning in my life. It wasn’t until I started weight lifting when I was 21-22 that I found my calling. I changed my life, left behind many bad habits and fell in love with personal growth.
What sets me apart from other coaches is my ability to not only help people in the gym but to inspire people to change their mindset and view themselves in a better way. I want to help young people gain the confidence that I gained from working on myself.
From training in the gym to loving how you feel about yourself each day, I’m here to help you along your journey to being your best self.

OUR SYSTEM
At Beyond the Bar we have a training platform that makes it easy for you to train better. Our coaches design custom training programs specifically fit to your goals and preferences in the gym. This app allow you to track every rep and every weight in your workouts, rate your workouts and leave comments for the coaches. This is truly the best way to ensure you stay on the right track.

Our coaches are available 24/6 to answer questions and give you support throughout your week. We make it a priority to be there for you when you need it. From motivation to form checks and everything in between, we’ve got you covered.

Our Coaches offers weekly face time check-ins with each member of our team. We discuss the workouts, nutrition and mindset that took place throughout the week. We see what we did well and where we can make improvements

Our members have access to our private facebook group where we share wins, post free content to help you learn & succeed, host challenges and give away prizes each week.
